During the spring, summer and fall, the Hamarita live in tree’s much as a squrial would, building nests, and traveling through the branches. But when the leaves fall from the tree’s the Hamarita too drop down to live in the cold water, where their hair turns bluish white and their skin turns the bright pink of those who are horrably cold. Hamarita love to cause and watch the effects of pain on mortals, and so will use their powers to taunt, and otherwise hinder them. Occasionally the Hamarita will even attack and kill or seriously injure someone. In combat they prefure to remain hidden attempting to charm and hypnotise their targets. If this does not work they will cause trees to drop on them and then attack with their knifes. The lightness of their bodies means they can rush out on even the thinnest of branches or jump great distances of 30 feet (300 ft with a jump spell), to strike their targets.
