Fachine are resentful hateful fairies cursed with useless feathers that itch and scratch but don’t afford them the ability to fly. For this reason they hate all flying creatures, and will go out of their way to attack them. They live on high mountain tops where they can see the world as though they where flying and where they are better positioned to attack those that do.

Fachine are a dirty yellow creature with a single large leg and a single arm in the middle of its chest. Their bodies are covered with hard rough feathers, which serve to aggravate and annoy the Fachines to no end.

The Fachines one consilation is the fact that it can jump increadable distances and heights. This jump which takes a move action is capable of carrying the fachine up to 2000 feet vertically and up to 3 miles horizontally.
Because of this ability to jump the Fachine can and often does attack air born creatures with a springing attack, with devastating results. This Springing attack causes 2d8+3 +6d6 points of damage, and the flying creature must make a reflex save (DC 21) or be crippled and unable to fly for 5 rounds.
Fachines are immune to all dammage from falling, and so may fall with any injured creature.
