Callicantzaroi appear as tiny 6 inch deformed humanoids, typically with giant feet or hands. They have very little in the way of combat prowess, however they will defend the chickens they live with to the death from thieves, though they allow the farmer take a certain number of chickens at a time.
This fairy enjoys nothing more then to ride around on their chickens. Though a close second to this activity is that of playing pranks on any children who live near them, as they enjoy watching the drama of someone getting scolded.
Oddly enough this fairy too has its own court though this is a very rustic sort of thing, with the king and queen often wearing crowns made of wood, moss, and robes made of old bits of cloth. This often gives some farmers the impresion that the fairy folk are somewhat backword, as this is the most often encountered form of fairy extensive farmlands.
Like chickens the Callicantzaroi are not good flyers, they can only travel 25 ft in a single burst.

Combat:
If forced into combat the Callicantzaro will always begin by turning invisible and hiding. They will then use their mage hand power to harass and confuse their attacker.
While doing this groups of them will rush forth in short flights to stab at their attackers legs. This will coincide with attacks by a chicken Calvary.
This fairy however only enters combat under the direst circumstances, preferring to take revenge rather then to fight.
Their most common form of revenge is to poison water. (mild poison DC 20 causes d4 con damage)

Spells
Invisibility, Mage Hand, Dominate Chickens (as Dominate Person only chickens instead of humans)

Callicantzaro Court
A court very similar to the feudal courts surrounding country regions, this court is primarily ruled by knights and ladies at each farm with a king and queen ruleing from one of the largest farms in the region. Although very tiny the Callicantzaro's  supernatural ability means that they gain HP as any larger creature would with levels. Most commonly they take levels in fighter with the cavalier prestiege class. Some few however become fairy mages, and advisors to the court.
The Callicantzaro court is always a reflection of the land in which they live, though a backwords sort of imitation.  Diplomatic relations between them and others are rare however if chicken farms are commonly threatened they will assist in fighting invading armies.
