Fey Pisgies appear as tiny little people with fine features, and long slender feet and hands. They are some of the most mischievous little fairies loving to tease people with simple tricks. They are often heard to giggle at mortals as a faint sounding bell somewhere in the distance. The Pisgies jokes are rarely harmful however as these are somewhat benevolent creatures willing to help mortals in need. Despite such helps however they are renowned thief’s and will often steal any item which they find interesting. Pisgies live in secret underground kingdoms that are older then any human or elven land, their court is perhaps the most ordered of any of the Fey and it is perhaps they who have inspired so many legends of the fey. For they have a long magical tradition and so have many wizards among them. This tradition has also caused them to take in humans who show a talent as wizards, these humans are given great gifts and knowledge but are expected to take assist the pisgies goals in return. When above ground Pisgies take the form of a toad or a hedgehog and may at times take such an interest in mortals as to marry them, or bless their children. Combat In combat Pisgies really on their spells, and their numbers for this fairy is never alone. Pisgies are naturally level 6 Fey Witches, and so may cast any spell of up to level 3 though these are normally only 50% real. In addition they can cast a form of super powered Presdigitation once per day that allows them to cast level 1 effects at will for an hour. The Pisgie Court One of the few fairy courts to be similar to the mortal courts the pisgie courts are ruled by kings and queens, with counts, dukes, and vis-counts. These courts rule kingdoms which spread undergrand and into the tree tops away from prying eyes. In some lands where fairies are well known, or for kings who are knowledgable or have the blessing of a great fairy scholor these courts can become allies of the mortal court of the realm they call home. In such situations diplomatic invetations and curtouses must be carefully observed for the Pisgies are very easily offended. In other area's where common half faery these often also become members or even kings and queens within the pisgie court. Many stories abound about unions between these beings and the noble children of mortals. At times such a relationship helps to bring the two kingdoms together in a strange and powerful alliance.
